Boyz in the Kitchen, Inc. was born in an apartment in West Hollywood in the summer of 1993. We started with the idea to use only the best fresh ingredients in our food, no matter what the budget. We knew that the presentation of the food was just as important as the taste, so when you eat a BITK meal, you will have a unique and unforgettable dining experience.
Within a year we moved into the Toluca Lake Tennis Club where we began serving the members of The Club and establishing ourselves as a favorite caterer to the surrounding studios including Warner Brothers, Disney and CBS Radford Studios.
The 2000 square foot commercial kitchen is now located in Burbank, California where business partners Executive Chef Gary La Casse and Joey Arroyo have had continued success for over 20 years. Many of the recipes have come from Gary’s mother, who is French, and Joey’s family, which adds a Puerto Rican influence. Over many years of trying and perfecting new and old family recipes, Boyz in the Kitchen has gained the loyalty of our clients.
We make all our own soups, sauces, BBQ marinades, rubs, dressings and breakfast bread. We buy fresh meats and produce locally on a daily basis, that’s what makes our food so good! The pastries include fresh creams, fresh local eggs, imported pastry compounds, gourmet chocolates and specialty flours.
With Boyz in the Kitchen it is important to bring about an atmosphere that allows for creative freedom in the kitchen. This encourages the Chefs to continually challenge themselves and produce new and interestingly high quality food dishes.
BITK Staff consists of many talented Sous Chefs, Chefs in training, Pastry Chefs, servers and bartenders. The experienced office staff and our production and event coordinators will take care of every detail.
